Our Little Lambs Ministry
This is a ministry for anyone that is expecting a baby or that is adopting. We would love to invite you to come and visit our preschool center any Sunday after the 9:30 or the 11:00 service. Come by and see our nursery and meet our workers. We want you to get to know us so when you drop off your child you will feel comfortable about leaving your child with us. We would also love to get all the info about due dates and everything you know about the arrival of the newborns. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions.

Preschool Ministry
Our Purpose
Here at FBC, our preschool ministry exists to help our children establish a Biblical foundation by using materials that help the growth of each child. The purpose of the preschool ministry is to provide a long and caring environment in which children learn about God and His love for them.
Childcare is provided for all services and activities. Our workers are committed to providing the personal attention needed at each age during this special time of growth.
All workers are CPR and First Aid certified and a background check is done before the hiring of any new childcare worker.
General Policies:
* Facilities will be open 15 minutes prior to church activities and services.
* Parent must sign in child at welcome desk before taking them to their class.
* Child will be released only to the parent or guardian in possession of security tag
* Parents are expected to pick up their child promptly after the service or activity ends
* Childcare is provided for church functions only and parents are expected to be on campus at all times in case of emergency.
* When church functions occur off campus in which childcare has been approved, parents must leave their cell phone# and the location of the event with workers.
* To avoid congestion, only one parent needed for pickup or drop-off.
* Please knock on door and wait for teacher to open door. Do not attempt to retrieve your child on your own as this will cause unnecessary security problems.
* Only preschoolers and approved teaching personnel are allowed in the classrooms.
* To check on the welfare of your child, please inquire at the welcome desk.
* No children are allowed to be left unattended in the preschool area at any time.
Security Procedures
Our Preschool wing is locked at all times for security reasons, and anyone desiring to enter must ring the bell to be let in. Pagers are given out to the parents when children are dropped off so that we can contact the parents in the event of an emergency or sickness. Parents can feel that their child is safe and secure while in the care of our Preschool Department at FBC.
Security check-in: There is a security protocol in place at the preschool and it is the parents’ responsibility to adhere to the rules and thereby assist FBC staff in maintaining a safe and effective security environment. Upon arriving at the welcome desk, the parent will receive two security tags, one with the child’s name and one with a security number. The tag with the child’s name is attached to the child and the parent keeps the tag with the security number on it. This security tag will be required to be in the parent’s possession to pick up the child. Please, no exceptions. If the other parent needs to pick up, please make sure he/she has the security tag or they will be asked to get it. We understand that most parents are there every week and we know most of them by sight but this is important for the integrity of our security procedures. If a security tag is lost, then notify the Preschool Ministry Director who has the sole authority to release the child.
We also have a pager system which is not required but is a convenience for parents. Parents may take a pager while their child is in the nursery and we will contact you if any need arises. Please return the pager when you pick up your child.
