- Where should I park and how early should I arrive?

It usually works best for guests to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the service begins so you can find a place to park and make your way to the building.  We have special parking for our first time guests, be sure to identify yourself to one of our Parking Lot Greeters in the yellow vests!  Click here for a map of the FBC campus.

- What should I wear?

There is normally a wide variety of dress at FBCM and everyone is welcomed to attend no matter their attire. When attending our Sunday morning services, a good rule of thumb is to wear what you would wear on a nice date. Some of the men will be wearing ties (and a few suits), and many women will be wearing dresses, but it is not uncommon to see people wearing jeans.  Generally, our 9:30 and 11:00am Contemporary Services are more casual than the 8:00am Traditional Service.

- Does FBC have Bible Study Classes?

Yes, we have many Bible Study classes for children, youth, and adults that meet on campus. You can see a complete listing of Sunday Morning classes by clicking here, or you can drop by the Welcome Center located in the Worship Center Foyer and speak with a volunteer.

We also have Bible Sudy Groups that meet off campus in homes on different days of the week. You can find out more about these groups by viewing our weekly schedule.

- What should I do with my kids?

If you come by our Welcome Center, the greeters there will show you where to take your children.

Preschool (Birth-PreK)
We have Bible Study and childcare available during all three services (8:00, 9:30 & 11:00am) for your apreschooler.  We have special activities planned for them while you attend worship and a Bible Study class.  Silent Pagers are provided in the event that our nursery staff would need to contact you.

Children (K-5th Grade)
Our Children's Ministry services begin at 9:30am on Sunday Mornings  and ends at 12:15pm.  For parents who choose to take their children to worhip or those who do not yet attend a Bible Study class, the Sunday morning program is divided into two segments:  class time and group time.  There is a tranisition time in between these elements from 10:45 to 11:00am that children may be picked up or dropped off without disruption.

For the safety of your children, a parent or guardian must pick-up and drop off all children using our security tag system.  Please arrive a few minutes early to check in your child and make it to Worship on time.

Students (6-12th Grades)
Our Junior High and High School students meet at separate hours.  This does inconvenience some families.  However, we believe that your student(s) will get the most out of our Student Ministry on Sunday mornings by dividing these two groups and addressing specific needs.  This also allows all the students of a particular grade to be together at the same time and keeps the ministry from being divided.  It also increases the chance that your son or daughter will already know another student in their class.

Junior High students meet for Bible Study in the Student Building at 9:30am and attend worship at 11:00am.  The High School students attend worship at 9:30am and meet for Bible Study in the Student Building at 11:00am.

Our Deacon Body is receiving nominations from our church family during the month of May for prospective Deacon Yokefellow candidates.  The term “yokefellow” is based on the term that the Apostle Paul used in Philippians 4:3 to describe one who was his associate in the Lord’s work in Philippi. The term is translated “comrade”, “teammate”, and “partner” in other translations.

Those who are elected by the church as Deacon Yokefellows will serve with our Deacon Body under the apprenticeship of one of our presently ordained deacons for a period of one year. Following this time of training, if the Lord confirms his calling to the ministry of deacon, the yokefellow will be ordained by the church to serve on the active Deacon Body.

Our Deacon Body will interview those who are nominated to determine their qualifications and willingness to serve. A list of Deacon Yokefellow candidates to be elected will be presented to the church for a vote on Sunday, July 25th.  For more information and to nominate an individual, click here.
